John Carr
John has gained extensive experience representing personal injury clients for over 30 years. He has successfully represented clients with amputation, spinal cord, and traumatic brain injuries.
In his early years John represented professional heavy goods vehicle drivers and later went on to practice as a sole practitioner representing work related injury clients often securing large settlements.
Notable successes in cases in which liability was contested include that of a refuse collection vehicle driver whose vehicle was blown off the road in a storm, a heavy goods vehicle driver who was pushed to exceed his driver’s hours , a senior executive injured in a bull ring and a first officer who was injured while crossing between two moving vessels in darkness.
John has successfully settled two cases after securing leave to appeal to the Court of Appeal and has successfully conducted two mediation settlements.
John has previously served operationally as a reservist in the Parachute Regiment and served as a primary school governor for 14 years.
John is a runner and has completed two Ironman triathlons.
He is passionate about listening to clients and their families and working closely with them to make a difference.
