Dr Richard Newland is an award-winning healthcare entrepreneur and medical professional. Dr Newland studied medicine at the prestigious Cambridge University and completed his medical training at St Mary’s Hospital, London. With over 25 years of experience as a General Practitioner Dr Newland has combined medical practice with a passion for innovation in bespoke healthcare services.
Dr Newland is the founder of CHS Healthcare, a pioneering organisation established to provide tailored support for families navigating long-term care decisions. Under his leadership CHS Healthcare grew significantly and was recognised for sustained excellence when Dr Newland was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018. The company became widely known for its patient-centric approach and commitment to compassionate, informed care planning.
Dr Newland also founded a leading child and adolescent easting disorders service, now the second largest in England, which has received two ‘outstanding’ ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This reflects Dr Newlands on going dedication to building high-quality personalised healthcare services that deliver measurable outcomes and truly meet the needs of individuals and families.
Beyond Healthcare, Dr Newland is also a British racehorse trainer, his horse Pineau De Re famously won the Grand National at Aintree in 2014, showcasing his diverse talents and success.
