About Philip Coulthurst
Philip Coulthurst is our Managing Director and Co-founder. With over 25 years of experience as a solicitor who has specialised exclusively in brain injury for many years. He is dedicated to improving the legal, support and rehabilitation services provided to individuals and their families who are facing life-changing injuries.
Philip has a long-standing deep interest in the emerging neuroscience research on brain injury and concussion. He has given training sessions and lectures on traumatic brain injuries, covering neuroscience, epidemiology, and socioeconomics and the need for better identification and care pathways. Being a member of the British Neuroscience Association, the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, Philip is also a graduate of Harvard Law School’s Accelerated Leadership Programme.
As Managing Director and Co-founder, Philip Coulthurst exemplifies our company's vision and values. He recognised the need for a shift in the traditional legal model for supporting individuals and their families affected by traumatic brain injury.
Philip receives recommendations nationally and regularly takes over the conduct of legal cases, particularly complex cases where the extent of the injury has been misunderstood, is uncertain or completely missed.
