Simon Roberts
Simon has been practising law for nearly 35 years, predominantly supporting personal injury clients with injuries of the utmost severity including amputation, spinal injuries and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
He has experience of dealing with complex issues involving lump sum and periodical payment settlements, as well as issues involving the Court of Protection.
Simon has experienced success at the Court of Appeal on an important issue in relation to the recoverability of costs for lawyers’ attendance on multi-disciplinary team meetings, including rehabilitation.
He has also dealt with, and brought, numerous claims involving brain injuries to successful conclusions, including successful claims settled in excess of £10 million.
Simon’s mantra is that rehabilitation should start from day one of instruction, alongside building a team to ensure the best possible long term outcome for clients.
He has been a panel member of the brain injury charity Headway for a number of years and was on the committee of his local branch in North Wales prior to joining Coulthursts.
